Dr. Michael Dugan:
Before beginning his career in dentistry, Dr. Dugan completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pittsburgh. He then went on to earn his DMD from the University of Pittsburgh and also served as a U.S Army officer in Germany for four years. Following his time in the Army, he went on to receive specialized training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Brooklyn, New York. He completed a five-year surgical residency and completed his last year as chief resident of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Dugan then went on to pursue a fellowship at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis Missouri. He continued years of intense training and eventually returned to Pittsburgh where he currently practices. Dr. Patrick Sweeney:
Dr. Sweeney is a Pennsylvania native like Dr. Dugan and grew up in Meadville. He began his education at Allegheny College where he completed his undergraduate education. He then went on to attend the University of Pittsburgh where he earned his DMD. After graduating, he entered a General Dental Practice Residency at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. He went on to start Oral and Maxillofacial Training Program at the State University of New York Buffalo and received his M.D. degree, Laser Certification in Dentistry and Medicine, and a General Surgery Certification. Dr. Sweeney is also involved with several organizations including the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, Western Pennsylvania Society of Oral Surgeons, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
